Quite a while ago we’ve seen rumors about a so-called HTC Fiesta that was supposed to be another Android smartphone, but there was no evidence in favor of the reports. However this has somewhat changed as a HTC internal link points to a HTC T5252 that is an Android phone and codenamed Fiesta. I am pleased to see that the rumors are getting shape, and although we know that HTC will launch at least 15 Android-powered smartphones this year, I want to know their names, specs, and to see their designs.

We will have to wait a while longer for the official specs, even if the UA profile of the HTC T5252 reads that the Fiesta Android will feature a QVGA 240 x 320 display, numeric keypad, and AT&T. This means that the HTC Fiesta will not feature either a touchscreen or a QWERTY keyboard, and that will feature 3G. I am not sure how Android will work with a non-QWERTY or non-touchscreen phone, and I am not even sure that we can call it a smartphone. Many smartphone users (including me) would be dead without a QWERTY (virtual or physical) keyboard.

Let’s just wait a few more days, maybe weeks to see this baby getting shape.
