Archos 5 Internet Tablet With Android Up For Pre-order At Amazon
Great news everyone! Remember the Archos 5 tablet that was unveiled just a few days ago? Fortunately it’s already available for pre-order at Amazon at the rumored prices. It’s not that expensive, but it doesn’t feature Flash support. The good news is that the Android-powered Internet tablet will get full Flash support in December and if you can live with this until the holidays then you might as well pre-order one of the three versions available for you.
The Archos 5 tablet is capable of playing 720p video thanks to the Texas Instruments ARM Cortex A8 processor, and you can output the video on a bigger screen, but you will need a dock for that. The Android tablet comes with WiFi, native Android web browser, but it will load the pages in mobile version and that is probably a good thing. The Archos 5 Android Internet Tablet is available in 160GB, 500GB, and 32GB SSD, and at the moment there are no words on the shipping date.
